Counselling & emotional wellbeing services

Our emotional wellbeing service offers low cost and discounted counselling or emotional wellbeing sessions for residents of Staffordshire.

Counselling sessions (50 minutes)

Available for:

• Any children and young people up to 18 (or up to 25 years old with SEND)
• Parents / carers of children or young people with SEND or mental health needs

Emotional wellbeing sessions (Up to 40 minutes)

Our emotional wellbeing sessions are suitable for children and young people for whom counselling is not suitable or not preferred. These sessions use alternative emotional wellbeing support methods to talking therapies.

Sessions can be offered:

• At your family home, in your child/young person's educational setting or in a community venue (currently only available in Lichfield, Tamworth and Cannock Chase districts)
• Via video or phone call (counselling sessions only)

Session fees:

Standard - £40 per session

Priority families - £20 per session (50% off)

• children and young people with SEND
• children experiencing emotionally based school avoidance 
• children or at risk of permanent exclusion
• parents/carers/siblings of priority children and young people
