Volunteering in social media, marketing or website support

We are seeking volunteers to support us with the upkeep of our website, our social media presence, and for our marketing and promotion.

Location: Home-based (for those who would like to support at promotional events, there will be occasional travel around Staffordshire and Stoke)

Time: We would be grateful for any time volunteers can give. The majority of marketing responsibilities can be carried out during any free time you may have to give (with the exceptional of attendance of promotional events if you wish to help with this)

Expenses: Volunteers can claim for travel expenses, and some other out of pocket expenses where appropriate

Volunteers can opt to help with any of the following:

• Maintaining and updating our website
• Maintaining our social media presence with helpful posts for our service users around the topics of SEND and mental health
• The creation of email marketing 
• The creation of dynamic social media advert style posts when we are looking to promote specific services
• The creation of dynamic marketing materials
• Attending local events to promote our service

No experience necessary, but the following skills and personal attributes might be helpful:

• Creativity
• Passionate and driven
• Knowledge of website management, posting on social media and/or marketing in general
• A welcoming personality and good communication skills (volunteers for promotional events only)
• A willingness to have a DBS check completed (volunteers for promotional events only)
